Even though the end of summer means back to work, it doesn’t need to leave us – and our wardrobes – dull and downhearted. If you’ve got a busy day working and a dinner with friends to attend afterwards, this blog hopes to show you just the outfit to pull it off.
Our fashionista Akshara Divekar uses some beautiful, classic office pieces to create a perfect outfit that translates from a busy day at work to a night out on the town. Some corporate colours teamed up with a few fun and bold accessories is the way we like to take it to work.
Here Akshara wears a white satin top with a subtle, beaded neckline, paired perfectly with a dark blue lacy skirt, which adds just the right formal touch and can be continued as the outfit of the night. High heels, a large classic handbag, a neckpiece and some classic stud earrings allow this outfit to be transformed, whatever be the after-work occasion.

For a love for gold: A nice golden neck piece brings life to the ordinary office wear and turns it into something special for the night. Akshara styles her formal wear with this amazing spiky golden neck piece from Forever 21.
And the finishing touches: a simple, large handbag – efficient and classy. Here Akshara uses a classic white handbag with some gold embellishings, which compliments the rest of the outfit perfectly.
Minimal makeup and easy to manage clothes are the desired pick for the hectic hours. Understated office looks can easily be transformed, with some embellished jewels and a gorgeous pair of heels, to convert your formal look into the perfect outfit of the night.
