Hi guys, I’ve been lost in a long slumber since a few weeks, but now I’m back; back with a promise to write blogs and reviews as frequently as I can. I apologize to everyone who’s been waiting to know more about newly opened restaurants as well as already existing ones in Mumbai – but in my defense, I have been working on something new for all you food lovers, you will know more in my further posts.
I’d like to share my dining experience at few of the most popular restaurants in the city. These include some for a family dinner or a bonny party or just a couple of beers with your amigos.
Browsing through Zomato, I discovered this new restaurant BBC – British Brewing Company next to my place. Went along with my beer buddies with a hope to taste their own brewed beer, but unfortunately they don’t brew and claim to serve imported beer. That was disappointing, but the food with insane Italian and Continental touch nullified my feelings. In fact I would suggest this place for its food and not the beer. Along with its food, the wooden ambiance and the unusual bar makes you want to stay there for longer time, gives you more of a brewery feel. Apart from that, the service is pretty cool, they give you an iPad with their personalized app to place the order along with any specifications that you want to include. This is what I found pretty fascinating. So on 5 I would rate this a 4, had it had its own brewery it surely would have deserved a 5!

Next on my list was the The Big Bang Bar and Cafe! A perfect lounge with perfect music for a perfect date. You can sit by the bar, get a kick out of a couple of cocktails, groove into the music and enjoy the company. Located in one of the main streets of Bandra, it attracts a mind-blowing crowd with every individual in an impeccable party mood. This is one lounge I would recommend to people. Saturday nights, worth a visit. Food is pretty decent, and adds on to the entire feel of the place. In all this deserves a 4 too!

Last but not the least, our very own The Home Chef. I wanted to review this restaurant since ages.

One of the most brilliant pocket-friendly places of all time. With its delicious Italian and America cuisine, it always tops my list when I plan out a lunch date with my girlfriends. One of the recent times, I decided to go for mocktails and shakes. And as expected, the virgin drinks moves hand in hand with the ambrosial food that they serve. As every time it bows down to my expectations and hence I will give it a 4.5 on my scale!

This was my overall experience since a last couple of weeks. Have many more lined up, so for more food reviews, restaurants reviews and new recipes watch out for this space!
happy hogging!

I believe BBC has started brewing now…
