I am sure everyone is excited for the holiday season coming up, but amidst the final exams and year end with all the stress hovering around, we all have this tiny part in our head which is thinking about what to wear for the party season ahead which is almost upon us.
I usually browse a lot more on Pinterest during my exams (we all hate exams!). I love planning my outfits in advance and hence draw inspiration from the crazy boards I follow on Pinterest. I came across some really cool outfits that I thought could be perfect for these festivities. I was really inspired by some celebrities and thought why not follow their style. If you are in New York or traveling to New York, I am sure you need at least 3 party outfits in your suitcase for Christmas through New Year’s eve. Why not end the year with style! Here I present some outfits that I liked the most!
The must haves:
Pink on Pink: Dress like you’re the only girl in the world! I am personally not a fan of pink…but I can definitely tweak my style to bring out the girly side in me. Rihanna is definitely doing a good job!![]()

The Slip Dress: Something that was a summer thing and continued through Fall all the way till winters.. probably with a tshirt inside.. it’s cold! Kendall Jenner is killing this look and I am sure you can too, in all those crazy pre New Year’s parties!

The Metal: That amazing metallic pleaded skirt is what you should be looking for this season. Bronze and silver would be my choice, but with this Blake Lively’s outfit, I have no words to say!

And finally..
The Velvet: I can probably talk about velvet all day long. It’s the favorite fabric of the season. With dresses, jackets and even shoes, Velvet is everywhere. The picture is from when I was a year old dressed in this cutest velvet dress. Well, fashion unlike history repeats itself! Simply take a spin in time machine and browse through some old magazines and you will see how trends come and go, manifesting themselves in the form of Chokers and boot cuts! (I am going to just look into my mother’s old closet and see if I can find something!)
